Thank You.

Two years ago I posted this video on Youtube for a show by KBS in Korea titled "A Song For You from 2pm". 2pm is one of my FAVORITE korean idol bands and are one of the reasons that I have such a huge interest in the Korean music and drama scene. I literally watch mostly Korean dramas and shows and listen to Korean music.

Two years ago, I honestly didn't think I would have my video selected to be shown on the show, but I wanted to do it just for the heck of it. I thought hey, you may never meet the band in real life, nor be on the show for them to see your face, but you never know. At least someone in the world would know your story and maybe have a new light shine on their heart. Anyways, I uploaded the video and about a month later I get a call from Korea. The first time they called me I was asleep. The second time they called me, I just stared at my phone and almost missed the call. I was extremely confused on why someone from Korea was calling my cellphone. I had no real contacts in Korea and the people I did contact had my SNS information, so they wouldn't call my cellphone they'd call me through that. 

I picked up the phone and the man on the phone introduced himself and told me he was a producer of another show in KBS and he wanted to come to Texas to interview me. INTERVIEW ME!! like OMG, that was unbelievably surreal. It took about a year to make, but he came to Texas, interviewed my family and myself and when I was in Korea during the summer of 2013, the show aired. My interview starts at about 31 minutes and ends at about 37 minutes. (BTW this was during my awkward haircut phase and my stress moments from tests so I was taking a break from working out....as you can tell...I shouldn't have done that...)

Anyways, so I was one that show and I shared my story. I'm unbelievably lucky to have had that opportunity and I'm so beyond grateful for everything that I was given by my family. I didn't get to be apart of the show I originally submitted my Youtube video for, but I was able to still be apart of another show that was better for me. I will never forget the opportunities I had because of that one video I shared and the friends I made while filming that video.


**Also my wish in my youtube submission video did come true. I was able to not only see them in concert, but also got to meet them after the concert. Needless to say, I was so unbelievably happy**
